The pose isn't totally correct, I tried standing like that and i simply fell over, the legs are crossed too much en the top part of the body is leaning too much to the left to keep balance this way. It's best to make a picture of yourself for reference such poses are hard to get right. ^0^

I used photo reference for the pose and I assure you that the girl was posing like that! Perhaps I changed proportions a bit and that makes the pose looks weird...

I think the pose only looks awkward because the skirt is obscuring the left leg, but yeah: I've seen models do that too. Actually, I've seen a LOT of models do that, I can never seem to figure out why.
